the Art of A. Turner Crawford 

My series "Check the Blues Out before Schools Out!", is about my creative process Black Classical Music (Jazz).  Music is important to me, I use it as the soundtrack while I work.  I  attend live music performances and capture moments of the event, with  drawing and photography.  That source material comes into my studio as I create composition which for me interpret the sound, movement and color for the music.  The process of being inspired and productive by artforms.
